First of all, you set the price. Second, you control the fate of someone’s income from that auction. That’s so insane!

It’s cool, because, if you and your adversary play fair, or rather, frugal, you cannot lose. I never overbid, unless I feel someone is trying to hurt my pride, so then I feel, I must crush theirs, totally. Jussst kidding (in my Joe voice, lol), but seriously, I never overbid, unless, I feel it is necessary to do so. What I’ve come to learn is that nothing is as rare as it seems. Ask a local “street vendor”. They find everything. I remember, this one guy, was selling a Nintendo with like 25 games, plus the cleaner for the system, for only twenty-five, smackaroos, lol. That was insane. But anyway, the point is that that was a great steal to whomever wanted it, plus the system did in fact, come from his home.

When that time comes, you will realize that you’re tired of just looking at some of your same old possessions everyday, and just watching the value go up for rarity, or depreciate, overtime. Just pack it to the side and find out if someone you know is interested in it. You can either:
A. Give it away.
B.Sell it for a discounted price.
or
C. Sell parts, if it’s possible. (Which tends to be more of a money maker). -That’s why hardware stores, and chop shops stay in business.

*Note: Even if you don’t know someone personally who would want it, maybe one of your friends/followers from a social network might be interested. Don’t forget to promo your merchandise to the very people who are interested in what you have to say.

I found it to be more of a convenience for me to sell my Twilight collection separate, rather than together, just for supply and demand reasons, I barely collected profit. I started low and offered free shipping. I wanted to help some teen fill her “Twilight teen needs”, for only pennies on the dollar, than to buy it for like $15 or so from somewhere else. Reading and imagination keeps you out of trouble. I know, I don’t like to be idle.

Below, you will see my list of Twilight books I had auctioned on eBay. I never read them. As you know, I am NOT a Twilight fan. Harry Potter was more of my day, but I do want to buy the digital versions for my NOOK HD. I heard that the Twilight books are better than the movies, so I’m kinda stoked about reading the first one. I’ll probably buy it next month. I had also sold a rare game by Atlus, called, Hexyz Force. Some people were going way over by trying to sell it for like $40 used, and scraped to like $109, so while, they were scratching empty palms, I started mine as an auction, taking the starting bid at a decent, $25. Mine was the only one to sell. Go figure. Greed will make them run away, and it breaks a customer’s trust. Respect and a good introduction in any business helps to display trust and establish a good relationship bond between buyer and seller. Hopefully, I displayed just that. They key to remember is they’re paying for your “goods” and services. <3.

Moral of the story:
Auctions, should always be enjoyable, and never a rat race. I never take them too seriously. The way I see it, is if I’ve been just fine without it, if it gets me to a very expensive or anxious point of disaster, then I probably don’t need it. <3.

So far, these are the only two of my creations, but the weekend has room for opportunity. I also put these pics on Instagram and my excuse me (coughs), “verified” Pinterest account. Lol, but it’s cool that you can verify your account, because people can do some pretty “weird” things some times.

But, I look forward to becoming a better person, day by day. It’s always a good thing to want to improve, and to always be moving. You should never let someone think you’ve settled at all. That’s not good strategy. Stay focused, don’t blink too much, as my Dad would say, “Two ears, two eyes, and one mouth.” My “challenge” this year is to learn when to cut the chord on some people, and who not to expect too much from. It protects feelings this way.
But, anyway, I bought something. A cosmetic tray. I needed one for so long!
It’s not so much, “New Year, New Me”, cliche garbage, but me wanting to start my new year off nice, cleaner, and more organized. I am always trying to improve, and I think that doing this today, just sets the bar for what is to become of me this year.

Also, I do want to read more and I gotta say that I have been having so much fun with my new Nook HD. It automatically synced all of my purchases and information, plus it came pre-charged, so I didn’t have to fall asleep for eight hours, or fidget like a madwoman, lol. And thanks to Crackle, I got to watch movies in high-def, with the convenience of pausing, closing the app, or even closing the Nook itself, and reopening, and just pressing “resume”, all for free. I got to subscribe to so many of my digital catalogs, newspapers, and magazines, for not a penny extra, to the point where it became overwhelming, I’m like, “What can’t it do?” Take pics, but I know that, and don’t care, lol. (I’m getting the iPad 4 soon, but I’m in no hurry, my iPhone is treating me quite alright, plus, I’m grandfathered in with like three lines. Ha!) It’s not about “going hard”, it’s more about going for yours, doing what you feel is good for you.

I haven’t posted in so long, I done forgot what it felt like, lol. All types of things done changed, since my last post. I moved in with my boyfriend, I got a new Nook HD, (As part of my X-Mas gift, alongside my Louis Vuitton “Totally” bag from him.). Now, on top of reading my books, I get to watch movies in great picture, while on the go. Man, all types of things! But right now, it’s late, so I’m just gonna add a photo, and be on my way. Ever had that friend, or relative that never wanted to go anywhere outside of town, to the movies, shopping, or anything, or even down the block, unless you bribed them, and sometimes still wouldn’t budge? Omg, I hate that.
